I wrote a story up to ask the people of my community if they would help homeless children. The story went as following! Something great is happening in San Diego California, that is spreading across the globe, and our home town of Atlanta Michigan is going to make sure that we are the first community that makes it happen. If you will join us in this endeavor, Will you help? Russell T. Hartsaw Founder and Chairman of Invisible Youth Network is a man that took it upon himself to help homeless children. He was a homeless child himself at one time and he knows what it is like to be in the streets with no food and no one that cared. Russell started the Invisible Youth Network all by himself, to begin feeding the children out on the streets of San Diego. Volunteers freely give of their time and expenses to help him. They go out into the streets weekly and feed these children. We are all hoping and praying that in a few years this will cause a ripple effect and more communities will join in and have their own programs and projects to help feed their homeless children. It is a sad fact that children are starving out in the streets, all alone, around the world and no one seems to care. As humans we need to start caring, these children need our help. We need to stand up and start helping these innocent, precious children. This is just the first step in this heart felt endeavor that we at Invisible Youth Network and Atlanta Michigan can get involved in and really help these kids. I am very optimistic and positive that we as a community of people can really make a difference in these childrens lives around the world. Someone, everyone needs to start caring. Russell Hartsaw and I and the members of the Invisible Youth Network and volunteers care. You can get involved and help and care too. Every single one of us can make a difference. We are asking that you throw your change into the Invisible youth food banks, of course you're welcome to donate as much as you can and want too. There are now over 1,700 member of the Invisible Youth Network and growing every day. The Inviible Youth network is an organization that provides resources and support for homeless and at risk youth. There are 4000 plus homeless in San Diego alone and 150 million children in the streets of the world. What does it matter where you help children as long as you do, the rewards and blessing you will feel in your heart are boundless and worth it. I will be placing donation cans out in the community of Atlanta Michigan in the months of October, Febuary and June. We can all make a difference with your donations. Will you help? The funds are sent in to the homeless childrens account where the funds are divided up and distributed to different locations to feed the homeless children of the world. More information is availiable at these internets. http://pods.zaadz.com/homelessness and http://www.freewebs.com/invisibleyouth I want the people of Atlanta Michigan to know how important they are. I want them to know how much it means to a child to have food all year round, these food banks will be going out each year, to help feed these children. Do any of us know what it is like to take food out to a homeless child, or a coat, stocking hat, or blanket and see the smile on a hungry cold child. Were you ever on the streets, hungry and cold and did anyone bring you food, or a blanket. I want to thank you for your donations and caring about homeless children. You are all very important to this endeavor and I hope you feel important too. I also want to thank the establishments that let me place the food bank cans in their bussinesses too. You are all very important in this endeavor all of you are. We can all make a big difference. Thank you! Hugs! Yvonne This story went in the Atlanta Tribune in September and the cans were placed out in October. I will give an update on how we did in my next discussion. But most importantly I want to know if you can do something like this in your community to help the Invisible youth of the world. Please visit the webs sites and donate what you can or do a project and donate them funds, Thank you! hugs! Yvonne

Yes! The food bank cans went out october 1st. The people of Atlanta Michigan responded well. In the month of October we made a total of $100.00 for the month. Which went into the childrens bank account, through paypal. I than wrote up a thank you story to tell the people of Atlanta, how much we appreciated all their donations, and I let them know how much they had donated. I am very grateful for all the people who donated to the homeless childrens food banks. One hundred children got to eat one meal for the day. It cost approximately 1.00 per child for one meal. Hurray!! I have also started a food basket project, for collecting food, for the month of November, Febuary and June to be sent in to the San Diego Invisible Youth Network, where it will be distrubuted to the children. I love helping homeless children and I hope you will do something to help them too. Hugs! Yvonne

Great News! IYN now has a charter location in Chicago where the estimated population of homeless youth is estimated to be about 28,000!!! More details will be posted about this as I know more to tell. I know the name of the gentleman who's doing this, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to give it out yet. I'll be reporting both at your place at MyLot and mine as I find the time. Thanks for all you do! According to Russell, the kids at this one center in San Diego know you and me by name!
