IT's been awhile since I have seen you. But at any rate I know I have a lot of left overs usually. Why not get him some of those divided dishes and put left overs in it so they can heat it up for him.

That is great that they will microwave for you. If he likes mac and cheese, they have the individual servings that come either frozen or in cups. You could also send pizza bagles, french toast sticks and then just send a little cup of syrup to dip them in.

How about trying half bagel with lowfat cream cheese, smoked salmon, and a face made of raisin eyes, cashew nose, and an apple smile or whole-wheat fruit pancakes with a hard-boiled or poached egg and steamed yams.

I'm not really good on recommending kid food, or adult food for that matter. : ) What comes to mind is a sample I received in the mail, and now it is on the supermarket shelves. It's Hamburger Helper in a microwavable pouch. It already has little bits of beef, and all you have to do is add water and microwave it. I'm sure they have a sink in the preschool, so water should be OK I would assume. Anyway, it's a small pouch, and I don't think it would be too much for him. Sorry I couldn't help more!

Most canned soups/pastas now come in microwavable cups which is an excellent lunch idea for a preschooler. How bout pop-tarts, hot pockets, pizza rolls, lunchables.
