What is the best way to travel across Canada. Is it by car, train, bus? Also wondering what is the cheapest way.

If there's no time constraint, I guess to travel by car is the cheapest. Be sure you know the way or have a road map with you. But travelling by car would be tiresome if you're the driver. You can ask friends to be alternate driver for you or hire a driver. Anyway, you can stop at every city, state before proceeding on to the next. This will give you ample time to look around the sceneries, take photos and buy souvenir items at souvenir shops and then rest. If you have much money, the fastest way is to travel by airplane. We travel via air canada from Vancouver to Montreal and vice versa which is about 5 hours flight. When we went to Toronto we travel by car from Montreal which is 8 hours drive; Montreal to Ottawa is about 4 hours drive. My brother in law who's driving the car would stop at every gasoline station to refuel the car and have some rest. Also we travel by car and ferry when we went to Victoria from Vancouver, British Columbia. Travelling is a little bit tiresome but fun and enjoyable.
