I have travelled by Air only twice till now. I prefer a train to Planes. I only travel by air if there is an emergency. And it is more fun to travel by a train. To get to see a lot of the country, make new friends and where will you find people selling cooldrinks or water or snacks on a plane. That holds all the charm for me.

You are right in saying that it depends on one's priority.. IF its business trip or you are getting short of time then air travel is better choice. otherwise you might have better options these days...

I prefer air travel. I have flown several times all over, and its definately the quickest method. Im not good traveling long distances by ground.

I've flown a lot and can't even count exactly how many times! I've even flown to Europe several times. I love to fly but I do not enjoy the hassle it as become in recent years. I loved when you could fly non-stop (no annoying layovers, no switching planes, etc). Now with the layovers, the extra time you have to spend at the airport for check-in/clearance, it often takes the same amount of time to fly as it does to drive! If the total time is almost identical, we drive....as it also ends up being cheaper and less stressful.

I like airtravel. I find it really neat when it's a clear day and you can see things clearly below. It's like looking at a big map down below. I've travled via plane a total of 4 times.

To have a good sight seeing of a place yes, train or luxury bus can be opted. But if its very urgent we have to travel in air. I have also travelled domestically for 3 times and today would be my fourth time. To save time and to meet my beloved husband I have to use this. Waiting for a chance to trave international in air atleast once.

Air travel is not a big deal anymore, specially after the introduction of low-cost carriers. I, personally travel once a month.

I would say that I have traveled by air at least 40 times. I used to just drop everything and fly out for vacations before I got married and had a child. since I have been married I have only been to 1 place to where I have had to fly.

in the states train, bus, etc. out of states no choice, gotta go air, or boat. I'd boat most places in this day and age though I did fly to Bahamas in Dec 05, air travel is never enjoyable, I do and will avoid unless absolutely unavoidable.

I would have travelled about 50 times by air going right back to 1968. LOL However these days I prefer to drive as we see more of our great country, Australia, than when we travel any other way. Also we can stop and see things that we might not see if we were travelling by plane, bus or train. :)
