single. I am a single mother and don't have time to go to meetings on campus when i live 30 min away. It is just too hard to try to connect with everyone else when I have a life outside of schoool where I have to work & raise a kid.

I do believe in cooperation rather than competiton and so beyond doubt i believe in group project rather than single project.its always a very nice feeling when you there are a bunch of people working to attain a common goal.here the pressure is shared among the team members and also it helps in development of team spirit.i have project in this academic year and we are doing it in groups of four.i have already started my project and from my experience i can tell you ,its very nice and cool to work in a team.what do you think and do you like being in a team or rather remain single.

Even though it is really hard to control all members of the group and make them do what they need to do, I really like group project. Because it is more fun and you can learn more in the process from the other members as well as share the ideas and thoughts.

I prefer to do group projects more over single projects. This is due to the fact that more the number of students in your group, more intresting and good project you will come up with. Different students have different ideas. I think if a project is given to a single person, he can come up with limited ideas for that project. On the other hand, If the same project is given to a group, hey would come up with lot more ideas for that project. Work done together by two or three people is always better than the work done by a single person. Group discussion helps in improving the project and adding the finishing touch to it. Also it helps in decreasing the project pressure and tension on each individual of the group as the burden gets devided to a larger number of students. Each of them shares the same amount of tension and credit for the project. Whereas, If a single person works one the same project, he can be seen more tensed and depresed because the whole responsibility of the project is on his shoulders......... So, I would prefer to work in group for a project as the work load gets distributed in all the group members and it is easy to come up with more number of eye catching and intresting ideas!!!

HONESTLY, id rather do single projects! I guess i have the best luck ever (not) i usually end up with the people who are crazy, someone who I hate, laziest person ive ever met, and so on. lol.. i usually end up getting suckered into doing most of the work and giving others credit for it. I dont know why Im so nice. I should put my foot down or at least take the credit for the work Im actually doing!!!!!!! Preddy ridiculous if you ask me.

I would rather do a project by myself. I can accomplish more that way and feel a sense of closure, when it is finished. If it all goes wrong, I would know that it was all my fault and could not blame it on anyone else.

I rather do single projects for two reasons. One, in school whenever I got put into a group, it always seemed I was the smartest one in that group (no I am not bragging) so I always ended up doing the bulk of the work. It felt that the grade that the group made was actually mine. I also like single projects better because if it happens to be a day that I am being lazy, or something comes up during a long term project that takes me away, I am not pulling the rest of the group down because of my lack of activity.

i prefer to work singlely than do group projects. i found that the members in the group are so lazy.and sometimes,we hold the different opinions. and at last, i must finish the project singlely.

of course group! i don't think i can do some important projects all by myself .that must be very hard and difficult.though i have self-confidence enough ,i think i don't have enough energy and ability to do such a big project! and i think group work will be helpful and useful,we can help each other and can save much time .

I hate group work, but I'm trying to get better at it. My problem is is that I don't trust people enough.... So I end up doing the work myself. Also, I'm really bossy =P So it'd have to be single work!

My answer depends on the kind of project. If it's some kind of a cultural dance then I'll stick to group...dancing is my weakness and even though my classmates know that, they would always choose me as a leader and I can't complain because our teacher doesn't like someone who rejects "opportunity". But if it is related to arts like drawing, of course, I prefer single projects mainly because that is my strength. Also, I can't do what I want to do with everybody commenting especially the pessimist ones. Every person have their own opinion and it's hard to please everyone of them. We would always quarrel over such little things until we haven't had the chance to start our work. If not quarreling, they would just talk to each other and do nothing as if they are not part of the group. But I know that no matter how I hate group projects, in reality you would also work with people who have different personalities and I should be flexible enough to work with them. ..^^..cherry

I prefer to work by myself. Because what usually happens is that I do all the work and get very little, if any, of the credit. That gets old really fast. It happens to me a lot, too. I work in a book store. When I work with someone else to build a display, I usually do all the hunting for and carrying of the books. And, then the other person gets all the credit for making the display.
