Ok i recently had to get a lawyer for a situation. But I had to pay a big retainer fee. I was just wondering what others have paid for a lawyer and how much they got an hour.

I haven't had to have a lawyer yet but I know how you can get a cheaper lower. Ever heard of Prepaid Legal. You pay a small fee monthly to get a lawyer at your disposal everymonth and you don't pay hourly rates. send me a message at mylot page saying" I want to know more about Prepaid Legal' That is after you visit their main website to get some information about them. www.prepaidlegal.com its a awesome company its been around since 1972 and they have a stock with New york Stock exchange.

We just bought a house a few months back and had to hire a lawyer for the first time. I think it is different from your situationa as we didn't have to pay a retainer or by the hour. We just payed at the end of our closing on the house, but it wasn't cheap.

Yeah it is not cheap at all. LOL. I was just wondering what the average cost for one was as like you never had to have one before this.

Next time you would be in need of legal services, post your case online at bidsfromlawyers.com. It's a website that allows clients to post their cases, then have lawyers from their chosen city bid for their cases. It's a good service that allows any client to chose from the lawyers bidding on the case.
