Do think that it is possible to feel any pleasure in life without first experiencing some degree of pain?

Maybe but that would be a fairy tale. I think most people have been through some kind of pain besides life is full of suffering.

And that is the truth. I think without knowing the meaning of the word pain, you would never know anything of pleasure.
