I was told by a friend of mine here on mylot that one of the keys to having a large response number is the time of day that the post is made. do you really think that post time is THAT relevant?

I don't think so at all. I'm in Italy and it's 22.00 here at the moment. I start discussions at this time of evening and in the morning I read the replies (if there are any) and the I reply too. It's a different time all over the world according to where each and evryone of us on myLot is so it makes no difference at I think. I don't thinkpeople have a 'more active' time. I tend to be on and off all day and when I see something that takes my eye I reply. I like your avatar and I think i just replied to another post of yours as it caught my eye before the title lol

I didn't think it was a major factor myself.I just had to know whether or not others thought it was. Thank you for the compliment on my avatar. My brother-in-law made it for me. Well I can't find the website he used to make it, actually he made one for every member of our close family.and mine is surprisingly accurate, although my hair while long has more curls in it. I will try to get the website posted here for you to try out if you would like.

I will try to get a hold of my brother in law tonight. He and I finding each other online is like shooting in the dark.

I heard that once before too and not sure if that is true. I am not on here as much as I use to be so i wouldn't really know.

From what I have see from this post and others that were posted around the same time I would have to say that post time may have a small part in getting a larger number of responses. I would definitely say that it is not an integral piece to the mylot puzzle

well it can be but i dont think it is a major factor. people will surely find your discussion. there are lot of ways your post will be displayed on my lot. if you observe carefully you will come to know they have a very nice function of displaying related discussions. so even if you post on a bad time i think you will get. it may take some time but you will get that. but the rest depends on what kind of question you put up.

I dont think the time you post matters that much. I know that I am on the computer at different times each day. I just look for discussions that interest me.
