why does a 1year old baby cry time and time again at night?

my roommate has a baby boy, he's 11monthes old, he offen cry at night, not to last too long evertime, but cried many time one night. he's mother suspect that he lack of calcium. is that ture? could do you tell us why does he cry at night?

The only thing I suspect is that maybe the baby is hungry or he’s got his diapers so wet. Sometimes babies often cry when something is hurting them, maybe they got bitten by some insect or they feel something uncomfortable.

Babies are strange little people who cry when they feel the need for attention, or they are wet, or hungry or for just about any reason you an think of and since they cannot talk crying is the way they communicte with us so do not worry about the baby crying alot sometime often then otheres its just that it wants something all you need to do is try and find ut what is the probvlem and once you do the bby wil stip crying now if the crying does not stop after you hve tried everything then you need to consult a baby doctor to see what the problem is for the baby might just be sick. Calcium he gets that in the milk they drink so I doubt if its is crying because of lack of calcium..
