I think that maybe you could get them something small, not too much as they won't understand christmas!
you could get them a pet treat that they eat or a toy they can play with.. Hope this helps

i have a dog and a son...
when christmas comes around, my son generally gets a chocolate selection box, so i buy my do some "doggy chocolates" and when my son is eating his chocolate, the dog gets his too lol.
also, if i think my dog is in need of a new collar or lead, i buy it around the chrismas period too, i suppose you could class them as presents hehe.

haha, I guess it would be exciting for your son to see your dog getting presents!
and that is a great way of keeping the dog away from your son's choccies too!

Yep. I have two dogs, A 1 year old Australian Shepard nmed Star and a 4 month old Puggle named Hemi{pug, begal, jack russle} They deserve a present at christmas to. I get them treats and toys. I also buy them new collars for the new year.

I always buy christmas presents for my pets. It's usually some tasty treat that they don't get often for the parrot and guinea pig and some new toys for the dog.

Ha. I have 3 dogs, 7 hogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, 4 ducks, 1 guinea hen, 1 parrot, 1 horse, 1 husband (good thing it's only 1 huh?) and 4 kids. If I had to buy my animals presents for Christmas, I think I would go broke. LOL

I have a puppy now and this will be the first christmas I'll have with her. I don't think i'll be splurging on my puppy though, i do get her a new chew toy every once in awhile because she destroys the old one.
