RFID is a contactless form of automatic identification and data capture .It is used in asset control ,access control and animal identification.Advanages are ability of multiple tag reads and accuracy.

RFID in other words Radio Frequency Identification is an excellent Technology. If this technology is implemented by Governments, the crime rate will come down drastically.But governments are not implementing, saying that this chips can be physiclly removed or changed.But for this reason they should not keep this technology away. A big research team should be formed and work on improving the technology should be taken on a warfooting style. In my opinion this technology is being ignored only at the instance of some vested interests.
