Holiday decorating or cleaning frenzy?

I don't know about the rest of you, but this next week is going to be a cleaning frenzy for me. We will be putting up our christmas decor and that means I have to make room for all the holiday stuff. We even have to move the furniture around a bit to make room for the tree so all the dust bunnies who were happily snoozing in the corner will be disturbed. The unmatched earring, lone barbie shoe and stray puzzle piece that someone placed on top of the bookshelf will have to find a new home so I can put my nativity set there. I spend so much of my time cleaning that it is always amazing to me that there is any dust left ANYWHERE, but when you start moving stuff around...there it is! I think I am going to try to get a head start this year and have everything spotless before we bring the decorations down from the attic. Then maybe I can just relax and enjoy putting up the tree and lights. Do you find secret messes when you are decorating for the holidays?
