We've always used Tide, so I'd have to say Tide. I like the newer ones that have Febreeze in it, it smells really good.

I saw the ones with febreeze the last time I got cold water tide, and I was wondering if the ones with febreeze smelled good or not!

I like Tide but it is to expensive for our budget. I only buy it when it is on sale and I have a coupon. I usually use Arm and Hammer or Sun detergent.

I am Tide loyal. I just tried All Small and Mighty a few days ago. I ended up using some great coupons and got a regular full sized bottle from CVS for $1 so, although I have been Tide loyal for several years, I figured I'd give it a try for a buck. Well, I was not happy. I have a beige table cloth on my kitchen table and I have a 13 year old son that insists on leaving the table looking like a toddler ate there. I washed the table cloth in the All and it came out with what looked like grease spots all over. I just knew it was ruined. Well yesturday I picked up some Tide. I washed the table cloth again, in the Tide this time and it looks great! I have tried all kinds of other detergants but for me nothing does as well as Tide. I like Tide with bleach alternative and the one with Febreeze.

Personally I was a firm believer in Tide for a very long time until All came out with their 3x the concentrate detergent. I had bought a bottle just on a whim and was amazed by the fact that it took out every stain in my kid's clothes. Its also cheaper and you get the same amount of detergent, but a smaller bottle..Bonus this also saves tons of space in my laundry room!

I use Tide, I probably used Tide because my mother liked it. When I adopted my daughter (she came to us at 16) she did not like Tide, so we changed detergent to one she like, after Nell left home, I just started using the cheapest detergent in the store. That was until we had a house fire. The fire did not destroy the house, nor even most of the items it it, but it took a year to settle the insurance claim and most of our belonging had to stay in the house during that time. However, we could not live in the house, but we were able to remove a few things from it. As we are not wealthy and we had additional expenses due to living outside the house and having another foster child (another niece, we did not adopt her as she did not stay for long), so I needed to washing clothes and dishes, and sheets and towels. I looked on the Red Cross site for information about dealing with items following a fire and they had a recipe for laundering clothing and other items. And all the recipes for laundering clothing called for Tide powdered detergent. After we finished cleaning the smoke chemical and water damaged clothes from the fire, I just continued using Tide.

We use Tide as well. Cold Water Tide that is. That way you are saving energy by not heating up your water, and it's better on the environment! PurpleTeddyBear.
