Congratulations, it appears to me that the winner is that all time favorite lovable red heard, Lucille Ball. A month ago I posted a poll which Entertainment Weekly Magazine was doing. You were to go to EW.com and vote for your favorite television icon of all time. Well, I was so confident that they would pick my favorite that I forgot to go there and vote. Well, I did vote here and she won. There is no denying that Lucy is the greatest of all time. And Oprah Winfrey thought she was something, Ha. Make me laugh and I'll vote for you every time go on over and see where your favorites came in. I believe Jonny Carson came in second.

Lucy is the greatest. I never really got to watch much Johnny Carson, but I saw my grandpa watch him some. I know that Johnny was also an icon for many people. Where did Roseanne place?

I never watched Johnny either. He is not my era. I am not sure what number Roseanne is. But, they put her up against Seinfeld and of course he won. I liked Seinfeld, but his show was just a little weird to me. Roseanne was more down to earth. I never could figure out that nut on there with the hair sticking up. What was his real name? Michael something. Then he turned around and said the "N" word and he set his fate for me, as far as I am concerned. I don't hate him, I just don't trust people who use that word to insult my race.

I have all the episodes too! I started recording them from TV years ago and played them over and over. I have athe Lucy/Desi Comedy hour which is fantastic! And of course Long Long Trailer - not a I Love Lucy thing, but those two took their "lucy attitudes" to make the funniest show in movie history, in my opinion! I just bought the series on DVD in case my BHS ever breaks, but then sent them to a friend and she has been lauaghing ever since! I have collection of some things and my little grand daughter love receiting the VItameatavegimen speal. And we play I Love Lucy monopoly! Classic, hilarious comedy - they just don't make it anymore I forgot who did it, but on TV is was top 100 funniest sitcoms or something like that and I Lov Lucy was #2, to Seinfeld being #1 - which to me was among the stupidest shows ever made - nothing but literal stupidity and senseless comedy - and I use the word comedy lightly!

I have watched a few episodes of Seinfeld and I totally agree. He can not even touch Lucy, as far as classic comedy is concerned. He could not even compare. One of my dreams is to own every episode of I Love Lucy.
