I one time I notice having a xanga was the hit on the web until myspace came along I wonder. Tell me do you think people still use xanga more then myspace or less and also how often do you go on it?

I used to have a xanga account a long time ago. I found it to be a bit boring, and never really found too many friends. And most of my friends used myspace. So I deleted it.

I like looking at Xanga blogrings but it is extremely confusing I couldnt even figure out how to do a layout or didn't have the patience to learn. But they do have some neat sites on there those who do take the time to learn but they will never be Myspace. I'm glad Xanga is available though I will continue to check it.

I started with Xanga after creating with my webmaster our MSN group http://groups.msn.com/EnlightenmentthroughTranspersonalPsychology to work in conjunction with the domain we started, the http://www.enlightenment-psych.net. With Xanga the resources were fantastic but as the Internet grew and sites started popping up all over the place, mySpace nearly drowned Xanga with user populus and popularity ! I still have a Xanga accout here: http://www.xanga.com/profile.aspx?user=enlightenedpsych2 I really prefer the communication response I get at mySpace better than I do at Xanga. Many many kids on Xanga that just want to show their stuff whereas on mySpace it is more professional, diverse and easier to report abusers. But Xanga has a place on my back-burner when my regular sites fail in some way. Always good to have back-up for people to find you some way . . . sharing the light, miss erica hidvegi

i made a xanga when it was the cool site to join. but it was far too confusing for me, so i just stuck with my livejournal. then myspace came along. i kept my lj though. and i made another xanga probably about a year or so ago now and i still use it despite the fact that no one on my list uses it really anymore. none of my friends comment or anything. i just keep it to write little tidbits it so in a few years i can go back and read over them and everything. i love doing that.
