whipping kids

I grew up getting whippings if I misbehaved. My daddy whipped me one time!! My youngest son is 27 he and his brothers grew up the same and they also learned the yes ma'am how to be gentlemen. Ever since they were little I've always been told what good kids they are. They're grown men and I still have people tell me. I'm not scared of my kids either nor will I let them run over me.They are not scared of me nor do they hate me for this. I'm sure alot of people disagree about this but there's nothing worse than an unruly child in public.

I agree. It's not a fine line between the two either. I don't understand how a person can be mean to an animal or child.

yes when i was younger i got a whip from a stick and from a belt and boy did that hurt with a stick but my dad told me i was a good girl when i was younger but now that i am older i am more naughty i dont know why he says that but anyways when my kids start getting naughty i start getting the wodden spoon and smack them on the bottom but anyways thanks for this discussion
