I want to go to bed, after this one. Dalian, located at the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula, is an important port and indus trial and tourist city. Dalian has a long coastline. It covers an area of 4,826 square miles with a population of 5,370,000. It has a pleasant climate with clearly demarcated seasons. Cool summers and warm winters make the city an ideal holiday resort. I have live here six years, and my colleage is here, I don't want to leave here. I have emotion for dalian.

Skyline photo of Winnipeg, Manitoba - This a view of Winnipeg from a skyline restaurant in the Hotel Fort Garry.
Wonderful to hear how enamored you are with Dalian. It sounds idyllic alright. Always nice when you can immigrate from somewhere else and settle into the lifestyle and not want to leave. My hubby and I left Winnipeg, the place where we were born and raised in 1994. The population there is over 750,000 people and we moved to a town with under 1,000 residents and love it too. Rural life is slower, safe, less costly, quiet and we love being here too...nestled into the hills of Southwestern Manitoba. It works much better for us than living in the hustle and bustle of a larger center. Enjoy your time here and thanks for letting us know about your love of Dalian. I have included a photo of Winnipeg from a skyline restaurant. Too big for us! Best regards, Raia
