Cooking while on the computer

hello everyone, i feel soo stupid right now, i burnt my burito because i had been listening to music and chatting with my friends online, iv done lots of stupider things though lol, but i digress, use common sense, get a timer!

I actually have a digital timer set beside the computer along with post-its for just this reason. There were a few occasions where I got so into something I forgot what I was timing.

If a clock would work you could just look at the bottom of the screen. You'd have to set the alarm or you'd forget. BzzzzZZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZZzz Ah, time for dinner.

aww u read it! lol, hey dude, im definitely gettin timer, thats 4 sure. at first i thot of gettin my lil red alarm clock n watchin it but i decided "Bah, its only a lil bit of time"

lol, i have done the same thing as you have at some point in time. i dont chat now when i have things cooking because of it! lol...but you are right, a timer is a great idea!

It never fails, until you get used to it at least. I do the same thing with my laundry. I will forget to put it in the dryer for a long time, only because I am online and forget all about it.

lol, i always forget my laundry, il be playing warcraft or guitar hero and forget all about it, my mom gets soo ticked when i do this XD
