How much would you spend for your best friend (dog) surgery? Is $20K too much?

How much is too much? Would you simply put him/her down? My cousin had a dog that needed surgery. The doggy had cancer and it had two surgery that cost a bundle already. Now he needed another surgery, altogether he spent almost $20K in surgery and fixing the house so that it's easier for the dog to move around. He had to put in and take out certain things in the home to give the doggy freedom to move around. But, to go to the park he would have to carry the dog there and can't walk him. A lot of people talk about him behind his back saying his crazy and all that crap. Who are they to judge I said to myself. He loves the dog like a child/best friend. Would you do any less if it was a child? What would you say?

If the surgery would fix the problem and the dog wouldn't have to live his life in pain then there's no upper price limit for me. I'd pay anything.

Aww that is a cute dog picture you have there. Is that your puppy dog? Thanks for your comment.

Thanks :) Yes that is my dog, he's a bit over 8 months old in that photo so he's pretty much fully grown. It's just his coat that isn't full length yet.

Seeing your doggie makes me miss mine even more. I had a Bichon-poo we had to give it away because a certain family member was allergic.

I didn't experience that my dog need a surgery. but with that situation, I must really allow my dog to go to a surgery for my bestfriend life...I do not care about the price.. "The money is nothing for a something that means everything"
