Is it wrong to like my new friends on myLot better than my every day friends?

Just wanted to give a shout out to all my new friends and the ones yet to come. I am sitting here at my computer and I was having a problem finding my way around certain site features. I put out a request for help and low and behold 7 minutes later 2 responses. Wow! I cant get that in a week from the friends I can hang out with. So thanks guys. I was a little nervous about putting myself out there. So far so good. I am just one of those people who even though I pride myself on being blunt, outspoken, and honest. I seem to have friends that feel as if I dont matter unless they need something. In fact two of the discussions I have started were regarding a friend trying to berate me. I dont know really understand why if I am such a tough cookie that I allow it. I think I may have this need to b****. I dont have many good friends. If I did, I would probably go nuts. lol. Why is it so hard to be a friend. I think its hard because in this day and age people are always trying to compete with one another. Thats not me. I have struggle to get anything in life. It really irks me when someone has to be better than. That is why I find it so refreshing to be able to sit down and give input that I hope will help and not worry about what I am wearing or what I have in my house. I cant believe how comfortable several of you have made me feel. I also feel like I am important and my opinion matters. Thank so much. I hope everyone can get what they need in life even if its through the good souls at myLot. God Bless everyone that has responded to my discussions. Your input was put to good use.
