I usually buy in bulk Vinegar and Baking soda. I use them for cooking as well as for cleaning. They are good for cleaning everything down to the kitchen sink. I use them for bathroom cleaning. To wash my hair (but I use apple cider vinegar instead of vinegar for this though). I even add a teaspoon to my bath water. what do you use it for? Just would like to know if there are more uses for them and if there is anyone who used these products and found great results.

I use Baking Soda as an underarm deodorant. Mix about half and half with corn starch and pat about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp under each arm. If the skin is damp the power stick better. Makes a very effective, odor free natural deodorant. Apple cider vinegar is great for indigestion which is sometimes actually too little stomach acid instead of too much. When I take a scant TBS it stops the indigestion very quickly and feels cool and soothing to my esophagus. It works on an empty or full stomach.

Wow, thank you very much for the advice about the TBS. As for the use of baking soda for underarm LOL does it really work. I think I will have hubby try this out first hahaha. Sounds great and it's all natural. Thank you again...

I use it and so does my daughter. It works great even when I'm line dancing and get really sweaty.

I remember when we had our parent's house repainted, my mother used vinegar to immediately ward of the smell of paint especially inside the bedroom which have small windows for ventilation. She put a generous amount of it in a bowl and put it in the corners of the rooms. She also uses this same strategy when we have lots of different left-over food inside the ref to keep it smell-free. Also when she cooks "pig's blood stew", an exotic dish here, she uses baking soda in cleaning the insides of the pig's intestines to get rid of the stinky smell too. And one thing i won't ever forget, when we were young she used to put a little amount of baking soda on top of the toothpaste everytime we brush our teeth because she claims it would make our breath fresher and our teeth even whiter.

That is very true. Baking soda is what they used back in the days as tooth paste. Even today they use that as one of the ingredients in the tooth paste still. As for boiling vinegar to get ward off certain smell yes my mom did the same thing. Whenever someone gets a cold in the family she would boil vinegar to kill germs and ward off those nasty germy smells from the tissues and stuff.....

I have both apple cider vinegar and baking soda in my household. I don't use the apple cider often though. But I do use baking soda all the time. I use it as odor absorber and put it in my bathroom. And then most importantly I use this when my acid reflux or stomach ulcer is acting up. I take half a teaspoon of it and mix it with half filled water. It does work for me. Just a warning thoug, one shouldn't use too much at a time and shouldn't be used when one is full. I take mine with an empty stomach.

Great! Thank you for the advice. Hopefully this will help others who have an acid reflux or stomach ulcer problem. I too use the baking soda as an odor absorber too. It's great. I use the apple cider vinegar often because I use it to rinse my hair...

i remember back in school that when vinegar and baking soda is mixed together, carbon dioxide is formed.in our experiment back in chemistry class, carbon dioxide is used as a fire extinguisher.just mix a cup of vinegar to a tablespoon of baking soda in a narrow mouth bottle and cover quickly to avoid releasing the gas.then tilt the mouth of the bottle to the burning object, and it will immediately expel the fire.
