Which soup is better?

I'm throwing a formal dinner party and have been suggested to serve both Vichyssoise possibly with lobster in it, or Butternut Squash Soup. I've never had either so I'm not sure which would go over better with my guests.

I have never tasted nor heard of the soups that you mentioned...but since i love seafoods most especially lobster... i would go for the Vichyssoise with lobster... but the butternut squash soup is also interesting... can you not prepare the two and let the guests decide which of which they prefer?....

They like both.haha. In addition, I want to advise you ,don't eat too much seafoods, just a few.Otherwise, you'll be fat!! Remember that.

I would suggest butternut squash. It tends to be a milder flavor and more palatte friendly than vichyssoise.

hi there wt200081thanks for your response i really love tomato soup i have not have that that in awhile butternut aquash soup i have never heard that soup before is it nice and i like noodle soup with parseley as well thanks for this discussion
