France is the most peaceful country in the world...is this realy so??

I had a bad experience in Paris a few months ago. My husband and I went to have dinner with a group of friends (there were about 10 of us) and all of us were walking back to the hotel and a group of youths surrounded us with bikes nearly knocking one of my friend down. Luckily, some policemen were nearby and the youths ran away as soon as they saw the police. Other parts of France may be peaceful but I don't think the streets of Paris are very safe!!!!!

Well knowing that they are the most peaceful among nations well then thats good i hope others adapt that one too.
