Are video games the reason why you listen to Jpop now?

I first heard Jpop from games like DDR and Kingdom Hearts and it involved my interest in the music. But did anyone like grow up with it or buy albums on a guess?

its anime that make me like jpop, even the jrock, the major influence me liking their music is all because of anime. i do buy albums and its great its a possession that really makes me happy afterwards part of my collection that is ^.^

ya, im agree with you. anime have lots of nice jpop and even jrock. their music can make me feel like energetic and a source of "life" inside.

I think what got me into listening to jpop was anime and rpg games. The first japanese song I heard was from kingdom hearts(the opening) and I fell in love with it. I kept watching the opening over and over again. After that I started getting into anime and I loved most of the openings. Then I would just go to youtube and look up jpop. So ya I would say that video games had a part in it.
