I've been under a lot of stress lately and have been having trouble sleeping. I've slowly got rid of a lot of the things out of my life that were causing me stress and find I am still having trouble sleeping. My body seems to have a routine of going to sleep at 11pm. It's like it's trained itself that it cannot sleep until that hour. Does anyone else suffer from this and does anyone have any hints on helping people to get to sleep. LOL I've even tried the lieing still and visualising each body part relaxing and going to sleep like I've seem on TV and that didn't work.

I know what you mean. When I go to bed my mind just won't stop and because I've been so stressed my heart has started racing and palpatating occassionally when I lay down. I'm only 27 so this shouldn't be happening so I'm just putting it down to stress. I've had an irregular heart beat for a long time just not as bad as this in a long time. It would be nice just to be able to go to bed and close my eyes and sleep.
