I think Australia will definity be better. The liberal government were losing there touch with the Australian people. It was time for new leadership, and we elected it. Time will tell how Rudd makes Australia.

Personally I don't think so, I think he did a little bit of telling the people what they wanted to hear, a few people I know think the Labour Party is the workers party and he has tried to give all to everyone but in reality he can't keep everyone happy, as someone said to me last night the Unions started in anticipation before he was even elected, with teachers striking, police striking, it was a pretty sure thing Labour was going to get in so they are haveing a go across two Governments, they have a if we don't get it with this Government we will get with the new one attitude. I was a union person when I was working so I know how they work, and I paid my house off in the Labour area when interest rates were enormous, eighteen and half percent. What I hate about politics is the lies the parties say about each other and they all do it, like the add the Labour party kept on TV in the last days of campaigning was a man saying how John Howard got in in the first place by saying interest rates would not go up, well the truth is he did not say that at all, he said he would keep interest rates low, well when I paid my house off at 18 percent on one wage the interest rates in this country are still low so he kept his promise there. I think a lot of people are looking at Kevin Rudd as a miracle worker but he has kept quiet about a lot of policies and some of the ones he did tell anout was only bettering Jonh Howards so I wonder if he will be able to keep the country happy especially when he has to keep the unions happy and keep wages down also so we can compete with the asian market which is becoming a serious threat to our workforce...should be interesting...
