what you think about nano technology development

I just hope nano technology can be applied to real life soon.

Everithing has it's goods and bads...Nanotech 'can' and 'is' usefull to mankind but our world is not (unfortunately) devoid of warmongering fanatic...Who ever is spearheading Nanotech research sould responsible on, 'who' and 'how' they trust people as there are people ever ready to even kill to obtain Nanotech weapons!!!

Nano Technology is the miniaturization of technology, due to the progress that has occurred in electric components that when compared to 10 or 20 years ago have suffered a dramatic reduction, though nowhere near what is projected in movies where they have components that are the size of cells or even viruses which not possible at the moment, but there have been great changes in technology from pacemakers to computers, cell phones to electric appliances things are getting smaller due to necessity or demand. Nano Technology goes hand in hand with various other fields, in particular the medical field in which the dream of having miniature machines that heal the body from the inside is the most projected but just the fact that hearing aides are getting to be so small that they can get implanted is a great leap forward.
