Well first I didn't do anything alone with either of them. When we went I would go out with a group of friends. Then I would determine my true feelings for both men, something like who would I be okay with as just friends and who I couldn't be friends with because of how much I loved him (this could be difficult because I actually forced myself to remain friends cause I didn't want to lose the friendship). I talked to both men to find out how they felt too. That plays a big part in things.
