Hi. I am a mac user. I love macs. The interface, widgets and programs that are bundled with it like the iLife where you can share photos, videos and presentations in a very easy way. Also, macs are not likely to be attacked by virus. I used to have a pc. And while surfing got a lot of viruses in my hardrive that I had no choice but to reformat the whole system. With mac, reformating is history. Unless you would want to upgrade to a new system like the Leopard. No virus at all with macs. Macs are durable too. In my own experience I had bought a second hand g4 two years ago..and I could say performance wise..it was ok. No hassles and problems whatsoever. There are a lot of free programs for macs too. You need to join in some forums and you will see. Also with the current mac upgrades, you can run both windows and mac apps at the same time. Reliability side-- I go for macs.

I can tell you the difference I use both. I have a mac and a dell. My mac is easier to use and has a built in camera and mic in it. I also have built in wireless internet. Its got some cool programs, and widgets. and I can use Firefox internet and can find some downloads for it but Window computers like my dell can download more and its easier to buy software for the dell then it is for windows. Some towns its harder to buy mac programs then for window based computers. Also window based computers are more complicating if your a beginner for computers. I love my mac its got its pluses but it still can't beat my dell for other things.

I still don't know what is the difference between them either. I have a PC and my husband has a Mac. He tells me that it isn't easy for a Mac to get a lot of viruses that PC easily get. So, I am thinking that is the difference between them then.
