Yes I do... I take photos where ever I go! It annoys my friends a bit but they always enjoy them later! It becomes an addiction to get an awesome photo of everything!

I know what you mean. My family, especially my brother, gets annoyed with me when I am taking photos of everything, but they do think they are fun to look back at later.

I really love to travel and when I go off on a trip I always take my camera. It is a digital one with a superb zoom on it. I take many photos at each destination I go to. My favorite photos are the ones I have taken in tropical places. I like the golden sandy beaches, softly waving palm trees, the gorgeous blue ocean and the clear blue sky. I really enjoy taking photos of native animals. Sometimes this is challenging because they are too far away, they move quickly or they turn in the wrong direction for a good photo. I am so happy nowadays because with a digital camera I can get rid of any images that don't like before I print my photos. Before the digital age I got many wasted wildlife pictures, especially when I was photographing manatees that kept going under water. I really love snorkeling so I use a throw away type of under water camera.

Yes, I like to take photos when I travel by sea. I enjoy taking shots on holiday of tiny tropical islands that I pass. I also like to take photos whilst in my home country of coastlines when I travel on a boat. I stopped to take a photo of a rainbow when I was cycling down a country lane. I sometimes take photos of the landscape from buses and trains. A couple of times I have taken photos from planes, the reef in the Maldives and the pyramids of Egypt.

I simply love to carry my camera with me when I am travelling. Sometimes I am worried about the safety issue, but I go the extra mile to keep the camera safe and take wonderful pictures at the same time. I love the picture you have attached!

Aerial view of downtown Winnipeg, MB - This photo was take from the restaurant at the Hotel Fort Garry.
Oh yes, my hubs and I take pictures where ever we are and snap images whenever we are doing something of interest in our daily experiences. We used to live in Winnipeg and moved to a small rural community. I will post an aerial view of our old home town with this post...and another or our rural community to compare the differences. We travel back to our old stomping ground and come back home to the peace and quiet of Manitou and feel so grateful to be away form the hustle and bustle of our former life. So here it is Winnipeg...from a sky view shot from a local restaurant.

Nice to hear that you and your hubby love photography and I am happy that you are now more closer to nature in a peaceful and calm area. Best of luck for you and your hubby for the future.

Rural life...such a contrast from urban life - This photo shows the wide open spaces of rural life...part of why we left the crowded city life behind.
OK...photo of our old stomping ground...and here is one of the simple, wide open horizon of our life in rural Manitoba. We'll take the open horizon and sense of expansiveness over the crowded urban life we left behind. Fun sharing...nice discussion. Raia

Hi vikash! I like photography a lot but do not get much opportunity to travel. So I have to restrict myself to indoors and my terrace only. That was a beautiful photo you have posted! Did you shoot it yourself?

Yes i do. I went to south africa on safari this summer and to a lot of great nature pictures. It was a great trip and the nature is awsome, so in 10 days i took 3000 pictures, but i guess some of them are no good so i will just trash them.

I love taking photos everywhere I go from my weekend trips into D.C. to my real vacations. I especially love nature photography. I like to do close ups of plants, leaves, and flowers. Pretty much every time I upload my travel photos at least one photo is nature themed even when I go to some city spot, as I am known to find the little pieces of nature existing in even the deepest concrete jungle areas.

When I visit a place for the first time I would make sure that I capture its beauty the way it captured me. I would often take videos of me too.
