My family goes to Las Vegas every winter. This year I want to bring my best friend. We already made arrangments and were so excited. Until my grandfather says no. Said he doesn't want a stranger on a family vacation. I really want her to go but he just got out of the hospital for brain sugery and are barely starting to walk again, I don't want him to get upset. How do I gently let him know I just want to hang out with a friend?

I think although his grandfather might not enough reasons. However you should fellow him.You can do everything with your friens in another day, but only this family day, you should make for grandfather.I think the elder is hard changed his habits.

yes, this is a very good topic.i think everybody should respect their elders.so my view is never argue with your elders.you should understand them.your friend is your friend not your family friend.but you go outside on a family vacatoin.so i think you should go their with your family.

You don't argue you let them have their way. That is right though. they don't want strangers around and you all are on Vaction, maybe you think you frienmd is not a stranger, but you Grand-parents have a right to say.
