Just considering the cost i will pay for the computer?or should i learn some konwlegdes about the computer and network securities? In my school ,i always hear the news of my classmates that their computers are attacked seriously by no-nameleaving ones. i do not like my future computer being the target .

you are right to ask because when I bought mine I didn't care a lot for opinions but now I'm disappointed. Read a lot of things about computers and when you finally choose a computer ask on forums if it is good.

Hi All! This is my third post in mylot discussions, and here goes . . . Probably you should learn the basics on how to use a computer properly so that you don't end up damaging expensive equipment (but if it is still covered by warranty, then no big deal). Other than that, you also have to consider online threats, as the ones explained by your classmates. It will be a good idea to practice safe computing -- never open email attachments from unknown / untrusted sources, use an up-to-date virus scanner, and use a firewall. This are the basic stuff to keep your computer protected from online threats. Once you get the hang of it, I suggest that you do further reading about online security to enahnce your knowledge about the matter.
