does it matter if your wedding ring is not that expensive?

i just got married 2 months ago, me and my husband went to a jewelry shop and we found this beautiful ring.. well, i actually i liked it very much.. so we decided to get it.. it was a set. we got a pair of 18K white gold for only 100 US$?
i was happy when we bought it.. would you feel bad that your wedding ring doesn't cost much? or would you still want to have a thousand dollars worth wedding ring;)?

I think you should get a ring that you both like and can afford. I wouldn't want a ring that I didn't like that I am expected to wear forever. If you like simple, then so be it. It is a personal choice. Congratulations too!
