I was curious what everyone would be doing this year for their children for Christmas. I have two children, and, for some reason, I'm having the hardest time coming up with really good ideas. My 3 year old seems to be giving me the hardest time. I thought I would see what others were planning for their kids. Maybe it will spark a brilliant idea! Happy Holidays to All!

Christmas is so hard anymore...with the economy being down and kids being so spoiled its hard to figure out what to get them. i have a six year old this child has everything hes ever wanted. Its hard to buy him so this year for family i have asked that they give him CD's or Savings Bonds so he can put them in his bank account and they can mature for him as he grows up. My son has way to many toys and he has plenty of clothing so there isnt anything he needs. He has asked for a few things an Xbox, moon sand, and a helicopter which im sure he will get all of them. Three year olds are the funnest i remember when my son was three he loved finger painting and painting in the bath-- if you havent tried that im sure he would love that you can get it at your local walmart its soap but it comes in a liquid or crayon form and he can write on the tub walls or his little body while in the bath. life is built around electronics in today world.....you might get him stuff where he can create his own and use his imagination...crafts or ceramics to paint something that he can express himself in with very little help from you. It will allow him/her to express themselves yet make you something that you can be proud of and well torture him with when hes sixteen ...lol lol lol

I focused, this year, on mostly outside toys for my kids. Both are girls and are 5 and 6 years old. There are some really cool sports games that I fell in love with. They are called "monster" toys and are oversized toys based on the original. For example, I got a bowling set where the pins have got to be at least 2 feet tall. I also picked up Monster Tetherball. The ball is about the size of a beach ball. They are really neat! Oh, the other thing we got was an oversized playground ball. I hope this helps. Christmas shopping is never easy.
