This year will be my baby's first Christmas. Even though he will only be about two months old, I want to make it special. He may not remember it but there will be hundreds of pictures. So I was wondering, what did you do to make your baby's first Christmas one to remember?

Awww, how cute. I am pregnant this Christmas and have no children yet and I still want to make it special so I understand. I made my husband an ornament with two snowmen on it one is pregnant and it says last Christmas just you and me next year there will be three. I hope to look at it every year and show our son as he gets older. So maybe something like that. Make an ornament with his hand print and picture on it. Every year you and your family will have it to look at and remember babies first Christmas. I love looking at this kind of stuff each year and reminiscing over what each one means. Plus your child will have it forever.

First off, congratulations and good luck. And the snowmen ornament you made sounds very cute. I think I will do what you suggested. It will be fun to compare his hand each year to see how much he has grown. Thank you and merry Christmas.

Last year, for my son's first Christmas, I wanted it to be special, too. I knew he wouldn't understand what was going on, but he can look at pictures when he gets older and know that we were so happy to have him there with us. He was only 3 months old. I got him a special ornament for the tree, and made him one as well. I also made him a gift, as well as buying a few. I didn't go overboard with gifts, but I did get him some. Mostly things he needed, like clothes, and teethers, and a couple of toys that he would soon grow into. I hung a stocking for him along with mine and my husband's, and we had a special dinner with his grandmother, and took pictures and video taped it as we sat around the tree opening presents. I think that we made it special by starting our own traditions that were unique to our family.
