Back in June this yea, my mom lost her battle with cancer. She initially had colan cancer but lost her battle to the secodaries that she got & by the time she died, the colan cancer had come back. I know I'm not alone but would like to hear other peoples stories. My mom held on to become a grandmother mut died the morning I was bringing my 6 week old (at the time) baby to meet her. I live about a 10 hour drive from where my mom was living.

Back in Oct. of 1991 I Lost my Husband to colon cancer. And it was very hard on me and it took me a long time to put my life back together and it is hard. It took me a long time before I could even find myself to care about someoneelse again and I did and I have been with him for 12 years.

I am glad to hear you have moved on with your life & have found someone else. I know it's hard after you have lost someone. I'm just glad I have my daughter to keep me occupied although I do feel bad as I don't think I have grieved properly due to being busy with my now 7 month old...she was 6 weeks old when I lost my mom.
