When is your favorite place?

If you could go back in time, to any time, when would it be, and why? Mine would be the late 1700's early 1800's to see the settlement and early beginnings of Australian settlement.

i would like to go back to that time too but in Ireland or England. those are my favorite times i like to read about in my books.

I'm the same. I absolutely love the period. The thing I love about the Brittish period though is that the histry is so much richer. Mind you I guess they had been around a lot longer than Australia :)

I would probably only go as far as the late 60's in the USA so I could meet Jim Morrison. Seeing our settlement would be good but I don't know if I could live without our creature comforts.

lol, yeah I suppose it would be a bit difficult to have these discussions in 1788 .... I think Sydney cove would look a whole lot different somehow though.

I would go back to the time of ancient people of Maya and Aztecs.

now that would be an interesting time to visit. I hadn't thought about ancient periods
