Are Fur Coats Worn In The Rain?

Is is okay to wear fur coats in the rain. I've seen people wearing fur coats in the snow but I'm not sure about the rain.

I am not knowledgable about the rain and wearing of fur coats in it, Zoomzoom. I imagine that if the coat was not dryed correctly that it would mold. So when someone is considering purchasing a fur coat they should investigate the do's and don'ts of owning one.
