Last November 29, Senator Trillanes and Brig. Gen. Lim walked out of a court hearing and marched to Manila Peninsula Makati Hotel, broke through the glass doors, and setup a command station in the hotel. They called for the support of the people to remove an illegitimate president from office. After 7 hours of stand-off, several cans of tear gas, a SWAT team and no other visible source of support from the masses, Trillanes and his group surrendered "for the sake of the civilians and the media men inside the building". Do you think Senator Trillanes' cause should have been supported and turned the rebellion into a revolution?

Correction. It was not Trillanes' group that broke through the glass doors. It was the GMA forces that rammed their APC through the glass doors.

Nope, you got it wrong. Trillanes started by breaking down the doors, the APC's rammed in later. So...Trillanes started it ALL.

Trillanes' unconstitutional actions should never be supported by anybody. It still boggles my mind why people even elected him in the first place. A lot of gullible creatures out there, i guess. The guy is a duly elected public official who showed blatant disrespect for judicial proceedings and is a pain to the economy. I'm surely glad that stock prices were not significantly affected by his actions. This move of his although planned (I do not believe it was not!), was totally un-assessed and was totally devoid of intellect. He never learned (unlike dogs who can be trained) that to overthrow a President, the support of the elite and the top brass of the military is a MUST. Did he really graduate from the PMA? If so, then the intellect of this institution's graduates are in grave question. Honestly, i find Trillanes to be an uneducated, and brash hooligan- low IQ, un-gentlemanly, and arrogant (although i do not know what he should be arrogant about). He does not deserve media attention.

Breaking in to a private hotel in itself is a violation of individual's property rights. How can we expect a person like that to lead the country to a major change?
