Poor People are NOT POOR!

For those of you who think the poor people are poor think again. They may not have a place to live or food to eat but no one in this world is poor. There is help everywhere!
All and any fast food places will hire them. There is this homeless guy I see every morning pan-handling on my way to work and I stop every time and give him an apllication from the Mcdonalds I get coffee from.
I even spoke to the manager and ask him if he is willing to give the homeless guy outside he store a chance and he said YES. He would hire hime on the spot for minimun wage.
Minimun wage isn't much but it's a start but the homeless man will not take the deal. What's up with that!
So I no longer see him as poor. I see him as big dummy!

I know many people that are just like that. They'd rather eat every other day instead of working.
But I do try to help those who are not like that. For instance, what you did, talking to the manager to see if you could get him a job... that's nice. That's the kind of thing I always try to do. And if they don't take the chance, I no longer feel I have to help them or give them anything.

Yeah...I just kept driving pass him today! He was looking at me crazy but I didn't even bother to let my window down.

I hope that you aren't going to stereotype all poor people as being like this... If this man didn't want the help that was offered to him, then nobody should feel sorry for him. There are those however, who can't work for one reason or another, or who actually are working but not making enough money to live on. There are many poor people who are not poor by choice.

Yes. I do and I will to continue to stereotype people who are poor because this is their own fault. I understand if they are sick or have a condition that prevents them to work at good paying jobs but that's the point of a INTEREST BEARING SAVING'S ACCOUNT! I know a lady who makes $6.50 a hour flipping burgers who banks and extra $3,000 per month because she have a savings account building interest.
People who don't work have help from the government and people like me who pay taxes.
