How are you getting visitors to your blogs without advertising? I have my website, and adsense on it. And, the way I'm understanding it, adsense doesn't allow you to advertise your actual site. How are you getting visitors?

You can join blog directory....its not against TOS, as long as you don't overdo it...
Also, leave comments on other blogs that share similar interest to yours....Last but not least, emphasise on keywords in your blog to get better optimisation via search engine..

I comment on various other sites and blogs using guestbooks and comments. I tell family and friends if i write something interesting that i believe they would want to hear about. Then ask them to pass the link along to anyone else who they think might be interesting.
