Americans attitude about time

hurrying to work - Americans is so tired!

My friend told me his first impression of the U.S. is likely to be that everyone is in a rush--often under pressure.City people appear always to be hurrying to get where they are going, restlessly seeking attention in a store, elbowing others as they try to complete their errands. "Americans believe no one stands still. If you are not moving ahead, you are falling behind"he said. I think Americans are so tired. How is their vacation?

I think the hustle and bustle of bigger cities during rush hour give this impressiion. But it's not all that bad. And vacation, well that is a totally different story. Then again, it depends on the type of vacation you take. But for the most part while on vacation you at least try to find a couple of hours during the day to either relax on the beach or by the pool. Vacations are great.
