My daughter is now 2 and a half years old. She got type one diabetes when she was 13 months old. She became very sick and was air lifted to the childrens hospital. She is now 2 and a half years old and she gets 6-10 finger pokes a day and she gets insulin 3-4 times a day. Her diabetes is not well controlled no matter how hard we try. She has highs and lows that are all over the place and we are now looking into getting the insulin pump for her. Is there any other parent out there that can give me some advise and if you have experience with the insulin pump it would be great to get some feedback on that as well Thanks for looking

Hello mellcuck. It is two years late since I read this discussion of yours. I am wondering how your little daughter is getting on with Type 1 diabetes. Since she is such a little baby, I think that it is supposed to be easier to get fully cured of this disease. I wish your daughter to be healthy, friend.
