I just say the previews for the Victoria's Secret show modeling their new line of "underwear". You've got to be kidding? That is allowed on regular TV? Good Grief! - those models are nearly naked and what little is covered, leaves absolutely nothing to the imagenation yet here it is on regular TV on local chanels, not pay ones or cable ones. Not to mention how many women atcually look like that so that they can wear those styles...I see very few. But still - on TV that the kids can watch? And they want to carr on about Santa being a bad influence to kids!

I know VS has run a special, I believe on NBC, for at least the last 2 years. It is just a underwear model run way show, sometime they have more clothing on that just underwear. I believe it airs after 8pm so younger kids would not be up to see it.

Personally, I could care less if it is on TV because I monitor what my son watches. I know you can always do that with older kids but I am sure most of them have seen much worse already.

You're right about that! Most any show these days has as much of the same. I guess I just am not doig well in moving ahead with the times! My kids are grown and they monitor their kids, but I still think that some of what they watch is not appropriate, but that is just my opinion! Every parent has to make their own.
