I bought a really nice chuck steak a few weeks back, and froze it. I took it out yesterday let it thaw and marinated it in A1 marinade. I really like the Chicago marinade. Anyway I decided to put the steak in my George Forman Grill. Well I can't tell you how tasty and tender it came out! I really didn't think I could do a steak like that on my grill, and I have had my grill for a number of years. Has anyone else done something simalar with a piece of meat?

I agree, and it is easy to control the cooking time this way. like in 3 minutes you have a steak!

Ya can't beat it. It gives any kind of meat lots of flavor, and it makes it tender.

Yes! Pork loin marinated in Teryaki. This time we put it in the crock pot. Tender is an understatement. It fell apart when we tried to put it on the platter. Had a similar experience with chicken on our Forman. I think it's all about the marinade. Must say though, when we have done steak, wasn't really tender, but still tasty. Happy eating :)

I love Teryaki marinade. Seems to make everything tender!! I really love doing chicken on my grill though. I mostly do chicken or pork, and I was to lazy to use my electric skillet for the steak, but it came out great.

My George Foreman grill always made the steaks really tuff and hard to chew. We have a Traeger pellet grill and it makes the best steaks you have ever had. I like the Jack Daniels Marinade it really makes the steaks tasty!

Gee I never had that problem. Sometimes beating them with a meat mallet could help. I'm not familar with the Traeger pellet grill. And I also really like Jack Daniels Marinade! I use it quite a bit in the summer when grilling.
