traditional herbal medication or scientific medication?

It was a mystery when i had hip pain and i visited a friend in another city in china. he told me he wasn't well and he has being visiting a herbal doctor who only feels your paulse and tell you what's wrong. we went there and the man felt my friend and told him what has gone wrong with him and he asked me to be seated and he felt mine too and told me exactly where i had the pain when in fact my friend didn't even know it. i was shocked at this revelation. he gave me some herbal medicine and now i'm very fit. have you ever met such a person before? how did it happen? share your experience.

Hi fredgame,
If you ask traditional herbal medicine or scientific medication, I will prefer scientific medication because it has got standards. This is lacking in other medical treatments. This one major reason why tradional medicine were unable to compete with modern medicine. Infact, there are very good medicines available in herbal and homoeo but the standardization and more qualified doctors are not avilable. Though they know what medicine to be given for what disease, they are unable to find out in what strenth they will be effective to tackle the diseases. This is the reason these two medicines are not prevelent in Medical Industry. Even Governments are not taking seriously about these medicines.
Recently, accupressure(accupuncture) became famous. But no qulified doctors. Above all these medicines take a little time to act. So in case of emergency we have to approach scientific medicine only. But in cases of surgery it is defenitely scientific medicine only effective.
