What does Cold calling means ?

Hi there.. Cold calling is not for the one applying for the job, it's a job function. I actually googeled it so I give you a correct definition. and found the below: Cold calling is a telephone call or visit made to someone who is not known or not expecting contact, often in order to sell something... It's a kind of Tele-marketing but the purpose is to get an appointment. Hope this was helpful :)
