How do I make files to upload to my website?

I have filezilla & need to make html pages to upload to the internet for my new business...does anyone know what programme I use? Is it as easy as using powerpoint or word?

I've personally used Dreamweaver to design webpages. It isn't a cheap piece of software, but the interface is really easy to use, and it manages your site via FTP as well. Plus, if you eventually want to learn HTML, it enables you to split the screen to edit the page graphically and the back end code at the same time.

like what bkpdp1 mentioned, you can use FrontPage to make HTML page... If you don't have that, you can use Microsoft Word as well....just make sure you save it as HTML...

Why don't you use Microsoft Front Page. It's comes with all handy features you need to deal with your FTP requirements. I always found it a great as comparision to other due to it's most convinent and user friendly nature.
