What is the use of adding 'tags' to a Discussion?

hi friend hope u must be doing well well i think its just to give a name to topic and i think its beneficial as u can get idea of post by reading tags only i think if u r writing post, what harm in tagging it, just do it, be creative and innovative in it take care

i believe tags are used solely for search purposes. if you tag something and then someone types that in the search bar on this site your discussion will come up. that's just my stance on it though. i can't say i'm 100% sure.

HI HUSI007,Adding Tags to the disscusions is definately beneficial for us. Tags will help us to serach our responses or disscussions on mylot.It is a sort of indexing a disscussion or response.

Hey there husi_007. I tag all of the discussions I start because if someone uses the search window to look up a discussion on let's say "Christmas" then they will see my discussion and maybe respond to it. If I am reading a discussion and I see that I can help it be found by others if it had an additional tag, I add that tag. That way I'm helping the person who started the discussion earn money because more people are finding it and responding to it.
