Do you have a pin holder or keep your pins in a jar or a small tub?

I have all my pins in little baby food jars. I have different sizes seperated and in different jars. Also different kinds of pins, like safetly pins, in different jars too. Then when I need some, say straight pins, I use a pin cushion and stick some into it. When I am finished the job, I put them back into their approperiate jar. I find that this way I don't lose as many and I don't get them mixed up and end up poking myself trying to get the ones I want.

Hi peanut, I keep my pins on a pin cushion, and also I have some in a cup. I do get pricked when I get the ones from the cup too. My pin cushion is not the traditional tomato. It was made and given to me as a gift for Christmas about 33 years ago. At times I wonder where I've left it, but it is usually pretty close by. Happy posting..

I keep mine in a bowl. Yeah you get poked alot but it's just easier that way. Expecially if you are like me and you kinda get bored so you push all the pins down into the holder. That's just dumb to do in the first place since you have to dig them all out and it's twice as long and harder to do. Lol
